Leticia Ramirez is a wife, mother, grandmother and educator born into an immigrant Catholic family. That family was the seedbed for the growth of her faith and passion for sharing with families about the importance of supporting and promoting vocations in their parishes. In her early marriage, and for the last 37 years, she and her husband have worked in youth ministry, as catechists and later, on staff for youth retreats. Throughout those years, Leticia and her husband have encouraged youth to discern their vocation and to be open to listening to God’s call for their lives.

Nicolas Ramirez of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, and seminarian Jacob Ramirez. She has been a part of the Vocation Task Force in a large parish in Houston for years and has given workshops for IBM before teaching and becoming an administrator of an elementary school. Leticia is currently an adjunct professor at the University of Houston, teaching student teachers. Thankfully, she has agreed to join in this effort to promote Ministerios de Vocaciones to Latino Catholics all over the country.
