Many priests say that they felt God calling them as teenagers. In general, the teen population is the most likely to be contemplating their future. Keeping vocations in the forefront of their minds is at the heart of a vocation ministry. For that reason, engaging youth ministers in the vocation ministry is extremely beneficial. Their unique perspective will be invaluable in choosing and planning events that will make the biggest impact on the youth of the parish.
