We will gather on September 14th for our 3rd annual benefit dinner that supports Vocation Ministry’s mission to promote the priesthood, religious life, and sacramental marriage. We look forward to seeing all of you in person!
About Our Honorees, Vic and Karen Perez
Vic and Karen Perez have been married 46 years. They met in college at Virginia Tech and were married in the campus chapel in 1974 upon graduating. Karen is originally from Vienna, Virginia and Vic was born in Havana, Cuba. Over the past 46 years they lived in Dallas, Mandeville, Louisiana and in the Houston area for the past 32 years.
Vic and Karen are founding Board members of the Houston Coalition for Life where they continue to serve on the Board. Karen is the former Houston regional coordinator for Silent No More Awareness. Both Karen and Vic were previously active at the West Houston Pregnancy Help Center in Katy where Karen lead post-abortion Bible studies, and Vic was a Board member. Vic is a former Board member of the Boys and Girls Club of Austin County when they lived in Bellville for 15 years and were active at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Over the years Karen and Vic have been active teaching CCE, Confirmation and leading bible studies.
Vic and Karen have been blessed with three children, Caroline Vyvial of Katy, Nic Perez of Saint Louis, and Father Victor Perez, and eight grandchildren. Father Victor Perez is Pastor of St Joseph Catholic Church and St Stephen Catholic Church in Houston. Vic and Karen attend St Joseph Catholic Church in Houston and St Faustina Catholic Church in Fulshear.
